Skills Challenge sponsor Teng Tools back for 10th anniversary with special prizes on offer.
It shows great ambition and motivation to compete in the Skills Challenge competition for apprentices and technicians.
That same desire for success is matched by Skills Challenge sponsor Teng Tools’ brand ambassador Vanessa Ruck, known on social media as ‘The girl on a bike’. Badly injured in a bike accident, Vanessa rose to prominence on social media with her positive attitude in the face of adversity.
Following her bike accident – one that took six operations, full shoulder reconstruction and months of physiotherapy to recover from – Vanessa began posting her experiences on social media, and a partnership with Teng Tools soon followed. She now shares her inspiring stories with a wider audience and is back doing what she loves: getting her hands dirty and riding her motorbike.
Teng Tools Marketing Services Specialist Philip Farrell said: “It fits in with our philosophy of inspiring people who want to succeed and to stand out from the crowd. To be ambitious and motivated to be the best is how we see our organisation and the technicians who use Teng Tools.
“Vanessa is a great role model for Teng Tools and the industry because she has shown what is possible. The Skills Challenge is important to us because it helps show a positive side of engineering to apprentices,” added Philip.
Winners of the Skills Challenge will receive a brand-new set of Teng Tools. To register your interest, contact: [email protected]
